Project of the month ( because it took that long!) for you today! :

DIY GraphicTees! Brandy ♥ Melville Inspired!

Brandy Melville graphic tees page

I was inspired to create these tees because BM isn't yet easily available in the UK, so we are missing out! Also because they are soo simple and make great pieces in any outfit.

I decided to make the I Heat CA Tee ( which has now sold out, but was available in February), the LA Bones Tee and lastly the famous Love Infinity Tee ( which I put a little twist on!) I also made the Paradise Cove Tee which I did before filming the video. If you want further instructions of how to make this tee, that can be found in the method down below!

As promised, I have uploaded the templates, and all you have to do is save them, print and cut away!

Note: I didnt show you guys other examples although there are other templates available in the link that maybe you want to try out?

What you will need for this project

♥ Freezer Paper Buy

♥A cutting board

♥Cutting blade

♥Scissors

♥Markers/pens

♥Ruler

♥Fabric paint/s  Buy

♥Fabric marker/s Buy

♥Old makeup sponges

♥Scrap cardboard

♥Scrap paper

♥Choice of t-shirt/s

Method

Print out your templates ( link for the templates I created and used is avaliable above)

Using your freezer paper, trace around your template. You need to make sure that the shiny side is against your fabric and that you are tracing on the matte side; this is important as the shin side will adhere to the fabric later.

Once you have traced your template, cut it out with either a pair of scissors of a blade cutter ( I recommend a blade for letters as it will help you to get a straight edge, use a ruler!) This will take some time to get everything precise, but it is well worth it.

Once your template is cut place it STICKY SIDE DOWN on top of your fabric.

Using an iron on low to medium heat, iron the template onto your tee until the sticky side has adhered. This will need to be done properly for the template to stay still while you paint.

Insert some scrap carborad in the middle of your shirt to prevent transfer.

Using a makeup sponge, DAB your choice of paint onto the template. If you want yourdesign to be faded/distressed you may only need 1-2 coats, if you want a bold design, you will need to wiat for your paint to dry and apply another coat, which should be about 3 coats total.

While paint is still wet, peel away your template and set your tee aside to dry.

FOR THE PARADISE COVE TEE

This shirt is EXTREMELY fiddly because the letter are super small, but it comes out looking amazing. I use my blade cutter for this, and a ruler is essential for the straight letters. The 'o' was so problematic that I decided to fill it in; if you have a circle cutter, you could do the 'o' that way or use your free hand, which is what I tried and

all.hell.broke.loose.

You will need to ensure you have NO slits in your cutting whatsoever as it will ruin your product. I recommend a light colour on a dark material ( white paint on black) as it looks much better than light on light  ( as shown above)

AND THAT'S IT!

YOU ARE ALL DONE!♥

Fall Treat! Chocolate Pretzel Bites! ♡

Hey Guys!

Time for a new series! It finally the last part of the year and you all know I tend to bake/cook when it gets too cold to be outside.
My newest series will be called Baking U Crazy ( instead of making you crazy, get it??) and my first ep. is a favorite treat of mine so far this year...

Chocolate Pretzel Bites!♡

Click the video to see how to make them first!

Ingredients with measurements!

A bag of your favorite Pretzels
1 cup peanut butter ( I have been using soft, but if you want texture, why not try crunchy!)
2 tablespoons softened butter
1/2 of a cup of icing/powder sugar
3/4 of a cup of light brown sugar
A big bar of your favorite chocolate( I went with milk)

How to make
  1. Combine your peanut butter and softened butter into a bowl, using a fork, whisk, spatula, whatever! until nice and creamy.
  2. Then add in your sugars slowly, and continue to combine until you have formed a dough. ( To test the dough, scoop out a small amount, and it you can roll it into a ball, it ready to use!)
  3. Then, using a teaspoon scoop some of your dough into your hands and rool a ball.
  4. Take two pretzels and sandwich the dough between them, then press down!
  5. Do this with all the mixture and pop the sandwiches in the freezer for 20-30 minutes!
  6. Chop up/ break up your chocolate and melt( you can do this in the microwave at 30 sec intervals, or with a double boiler, whatever works best for you!)
  7. Take a pretzel sandwich and dip half of it in the chocolate and lay it back down on your tray.
  8. Complete with all sandwiches and put back in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes
You are done!
The results should look like this....
